Looks like after talking to a LOT of people at the Vinton BRL Race last weekend we should have a good lineup of Oval cars. SWEET....

My race weekend was SH*&....... No excuses. the Crew/Car Chief dropped the ball. I was chasing setup all weekend. The car was just not right and everything I tried seemed to make no difference.

After I returned home Sunday night I tore the car apart and found a number of problems so I ordered a LOT of new parts and I am going to make the car like new again.

Congrats go to Tony Mitchell who finished 2nd in 13.5 1 second behind Brian Deel who was the SnowBirds winner in 13.5. Tony was hooked all weekend and as far as I know really didn't have to work to hard on his car.

There were somewhere between 30-40 cars in COT. It was the biggest class and I think the Nats will be even bigger. This is also the toughest class I have ever raced in and I am learning a LOT every time I hit the track. Thanks also goes to Koko for being my traveling buddy. We both did not get our cars as good as we could have but that's another story.

Don't forget about Sat. Night Setup. Let's get in and out as fast as we can. Please don't forget to bring a table if you have one. We locals really need to leave any extras for the traveling racers.

Sorry to hear about the ill handling car, but it sounds like you still had fun and thats what counts!
